Luminate named as the most reviewed content marketer in Canada

For four years now, Luminate Communications has been all about creating the content that non-profits and small businesses need to connect with their audience. The copy we write tells stories with impact, connects audience to mission and compels action.

Today, we’re excited to announce that we’ve been selected by The Manifest as the most reviewed and recommended content marketing company in Canada. We are proud of the work we do, but more importantly, we’re proud of the fact that our clients keep singing our praises.

“While we can say our work speaks for itself, having so many positive Clutch reviews means you don’t have to take our word for it — our client reviews are a true testament of our work,” says Deborah Evans, owner and content strategist here at Luminate. “I am so appreciative of the time each one of our clients took to write a review on Clutch, and more importantly, that they love the work we do. It means everything to us.”

Clutch is an online B2B ratings and review platform, which evaluates companies based on the quality of work, thought leadership and client reviews. The Manifest is a business news and how-to website powered by Clutch that publishes data-driven benchmarks and agency shortlists and awards to support buyers in identifying the right company for their needs.

Here’s a brief look at Luminate Communications’ story.

2019

Luminate Communications launched. “At that time, we had just a handful of clients from my freelance copywriting days and visions of building a company that offered niche copywriting, strategy, content marketing, and other digital and print collateral services to non-profits,” says Deborah. “While we do some small business work, my heart lies in supporting the communications needs of non-profit organizations.”

2020

The onset of the pandemic didn’t slow us down as we continued to provide an agency solution (without the big agency price tag) for the communications and marketing needs of smaller organizations that wanted to up their content marketing game in a now almost-solely digital world. We also expanded our offerings, partnering with a graphic designer to provide full-service production solutions for any clients in need of both copy and design services.

2021

TheFoxTeam.ca, a real estate brokerage in Toronto, engaged us to define their brand’s purpose before writing their website content. Here’s what Head Fox Alexandra Coté had to say in our very first Clutch review: “They put words together like magic and helped me feel anchored and grounded in our sentiment and strategy.”

2022

As the year rolled along, the outstanding reviews piled up from non-profit and small business clients alike. Here’s a sampling:

“They really hit the nail on the head on the first draft, and there was very little editing that had to be done on my part.” – Nicola Dent, Executive Director at Blu Genes Foundation

“They were very committed to understanding our needs and helping us meet our goals.” – Ximena Marky, Marketing Coordinator at CultureLink Settlement and Community Services

“They are timely, conscientious, effective, and efficient.” – Lesley Ring, Vice President, Major Gifts and Campaigns at Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation

“They’re an experienced team in different industries, allowing them to understand our subject matter.” – Kiirsten May, co-owner of UpHouse Inc.

Thank you, to all who took the time to leave such kind words on our Clutch page. We love knowing that you love the work we do and are excited to keep creating the content that connects in 2023!
